do all angel fish lay there eggs that way. how can u tell a female from a male. how can u tell if its pregnant

Generally, that is how they lay eggs, yes.  They don't get pregnant, in the way that live bearers do.  You can tell when they are about to lay eggs because they will start cleaning off a spot and guarding it fiercely from other fish.
